Description

N6339424R0002 TTWCS PRESOLICITATION SYNOPSIS This is a Notice of Contract Action, not a request for proposal. As a result of the Sources Sought Notice for Tactical Tomahawk Weapon Control System (TTWCS) posted on 27 Feb 2023, this requirement will be solicited as a small business set aside. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) intends to issue a solicitation, in accordance with FAR 5.207, for producing metal parts, cables, and electro-mechanical assemblies in support of Tactical Tomahawk Weapon Control System (TTWCS) AN/SWG-5(V)6. Specifically, this requirement is to procure commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) components and raw material to manufacture parts, construct electro-mechanical assemblies, and compile part kits in direct support of the TTWCS. This manufacturing contract requires the contractor to build-to-print using Government technical drawings provided as Government Furnished Information (GFI). No technical data is being acquired by this contract. This requirement requires the capability to perform or procure the following: � Precision Metal Machining Post-Processing Surface Coating, Painting, and Screen Printing Electro-mechanical Assembly & Test Cable and Wire Harness Assembly (Class 3 IPC/WHMA-A-620D) Quality Assurance and Corrective Action The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334111 with a Size Standard of 1,250 employees. The anticipated PSC for the requirement is 5342. The anticipated period of performance is 5 years, consisting of a 5 year ordering period. The anticipated contract type is Firm Fixed Price Single Award Indefinite-Delivery-Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ). It is anticipated that the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or around October 2023. Supplies will be delivered to NSWC PHD in Port Hueneme California. Drawings will be provided to all SAM.gov approved requestors via DoD SAFE once the RFP has been posted to Sam.gov. In response to the RFP, all responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
