Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Contracts Department, Patuxent River, MD in support of NAVAIR Propulsion and Power, awarded an order under Basic Ordering Agreement FA8122-19-G-0001 on a sole source basis with General Electric (GE) Aviation, 1000 Western Ave, Lynn, MA 01902 to procure a F404 Fuel Flow Transmitter Retrofit Kit. This kit, referred to as the C-81 Kit (kit part number 1953T24G01) consists of a Modified Fuel Flow Transmitter Housing to improve component life and reduce housing failures. This action was pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is for a quantity of 52 C-81 kits.
