- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 7, hereby provides notice of its intent to award a sole source, firm-fixed price purchase order with no options to Trident Building Solutions LLC, 8215 Roswell Rd., Bldg 100, Atlanta, GA 30350. The award will be executed under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) and this notice satisfies posting requirements identified in FAR Part 5. The Atlanta VA Healthcare System located at 1670 Clairmont Rd, Decatur GA, requires the contractor to provide all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision to perform the construction site preparation for the installation of Guerbet Bed and Olympus video integration equipment for Cysto Room #1 for a complete Endocrinology and Urology Surgical Suite. The contractor needs to be knowledgeable of the specific dimensions to be met and the necessary electrical connections and cabling requirements needed to ensure properly functioning equipment. The vendor needs to be authorized by the manufacturer for the VA to retain equipment warranty. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 236220 and the Federal Supply Code (FSC) is Z1DA. The Small Business Administration (SBA) size standard for this sector is $45 million. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. No solicitation page is available. Any responses to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must include, at a minimum: (a) company name; (b) UEI; (c) point of contact information; (d), to include capability, manufacturer authorizations, and installation specifics. The Department of Veterans Affairs will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered for determining whether competition is most advantageous for the Government. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. To be considered for review, responses must be emailed to margaret.yeaton@va.gov, and received no later than 13:00 PM ET on Thursday, Oct 11, 2023.
