- Project PIR Maintenance No. 1 - Road Construction on the Tohono O'odham Nation The U.S. Department of Interior (DOI), Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), Western Regional Office (WRO), Phoenix, AZ intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) Solicitation for the Project PIR Maintenance No. 1 � Road Construction on the Tohono O'odham Nation, Pima County, Arizona. Acquire labor, equipment, materials, and services to scarify the existing disturbed roadway width to a depth of 6 inches, incorporate soil cement, grade, shape and compact for 39.20 miles on Routes 2, 12, 18, 24 and 181. Technical specifications are to be Standard Specifications for Construction of Roads and Bridges on Federal Highway Projects, FP-14 with modification in the Special Contract Requirements. The Contractor shall provide all labor and supervision, materials, and equipment required to complete the requirement. This acquisition will be is issued with a Small Business set aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 237310 Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204, the magnitude of this project is currently estimated to be between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The project Performance Period will be 150 calendar days from the effective Notice to Proceed date. Contractor registration in the Government�s System for Award Management (SAM) is required in order to be eligible for the contract award. Registration may be completed and information regarding the registration process may be obtained at http://www.sam.gov. The anticipated release date of the solicitation package is on or about the week of October 16, 2023, with a thirty-day solicitation period. Once issued, solicitation documents will be available electronically for download at https://sam.gov/content/home. All responsible sources may submit a bid and will be considered. . .
