Description

In this information request, the USSF is researching industry's ability to support various satellite communication (SATCOM) dependent missions by rapidly producing a variety of different Radio Frequency (RF) subsystems that operate over a wide range of frequency bands.� The RF subsystem consists of the following: RF antenna, RF conditioning and isolation, high power amplification, control and monitoring, and RF distribution subsystem.� One antenna is not expected to cover all frequency ranges.� The RF antennas shall be able to support SATCOM to all orbital regimes (e.g., Low Earth Orbit [LEO], Highly Elliptical Orbit [HEO], and Geosynchronous Earth Orbits [GEO]).� Delivery speed, cost, and modularity are the driving factors.�
