Description

The Embassy of the United States in Madrid will issue a solicitation for cleaning services for the Chancery building and other USG facilities in Madrid, Spain.� The Contractor shall perform services in all designated spaces including, but not limited to, halls, offices, restrooms, work areas, entrance ways, lobbies, storage areas, elevators, and stairways.� The Contractor shall participate in the U.S. Embassy recycling program.� The Contractor shall furnish all managerial, administrative, and direct labor personnel necessary to accomplish the work in this contract.� Contractor employees shall be on site only for contractual duties and not for other business purposes. The anticipated performance period is for one base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. �All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. The Government is planning a pre-proposal conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation. Extent of the requirement: Chancery building: Estimated area:� 4,538 sq. meters Living Quarters:� Estimated qty. 50 per year // Average area: 230 sq. meters // Total estimated area 50 x 230 sq. meters = 11,500 sq. meters
