- Please note that this requirement is set aside for the Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) socioeconomic category. If your company does not fall under this category, we respectfully request that you do not reply to this opportunity.� This requirement is for the acquisition of new gym equipment for the 121st Fighter Squadron that enables the engagement/exercise of all muscle groups affiliated with the ""G-strain maneuver"", a critical skill used by fighter pilots to prevent G-LOC (G-induced loss of consciousness; ""G"" refers to acceleration force) during high-G maneuvers. 121 FS's current gym equipment only permits the engagement of one muscle group at a time and is inadequate for training of all their pilots' lower backs, glutes, hamstrings, quadriceps, necks, and core muscles. Please see the Salient Characteristics document attached to this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for details regarding the required equipment.�The attached ""121 FS Logo"" needs to be engraved on the required gym equipment. Proposals will be due on Monday, 18 September 2023 at 4:30 PM. AMENDMENT 1: Q&A document added to attachments on 18 September 2023.� AMENDMENT 2: Proposals will now be due on Tuesday, 19 September 2023 at noon EST to provide more time for vendors to view and address the Q&A's posted in the previous amendment.�
