- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following services: SCOPE. Full-Service Contract for the Fire Alarm, Sprinkler System & Fire Hydrant System, 5 Year Internal Pipe Exam & Fire Department Connection, 4 Year Fire Damper Inspection, Testing, and Troubleshooting, Preventative Maintenance, Repair, and Record Keeping. The contractor must provide service from an authorized dealer for the Siemens® and Notifier® (by Honeywell) Fire Alarm Systems located at VA Puget Sound which includes the following locations: Seattle Campus, Magnolia (a.k.a. Ft. Lawton), American Lake Campus and (5) Transitional Homes as listed herein in accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Code 72, National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code, 2022 Edition. Fire Alarm, Sprinkler System, Fire Damper, 5 Year IPE & FDC, Hydrant, Backflows, Roll Down Doors Inspection, System Preventative Maintenance and Repair Services; services include but are not limited to the inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance or repair of a variety of Fire Alarm and notification systems, Sprinkler System, Hydrant Inspection, Internal Sprinkler Tank Inspection, Fire Pump Monthly and Annual Testing, Internal Pipe Exam and Fire Department Connection inspection, Fire Damper, of equipment and components such as manual alarm devices, smoke and heat detectors, remote and graphic annunciators, main fire alarm panel and components, speakers and horns and other audible and visual devices, voice alarm system, wiring circuits and junctions, tamper devices, flow switches, sprinkler valves, heads and risers, PIV, and all other alarm, detection and control and ancillary devices, and emergency power operations. This will also include a 24-hour Emergency Call-back response. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, professional expertise, travel, vehicles, tools, materials, services, equipment, and quality control to ensure the maintenance and monitoring services are performed in a manner that will meet or exceed the requirements to ensure all covered systems and devices are maintained and in working order. MANUFACTURER AUTHORIZATION. The Contractor must provide certifications or OEM designation letters proving it or its subcontractors are an authorized: 1) Siemen s distributor and 2) Premier Notifier distributors authorized to by both OEMs to conduct business in the state of Washington. Potential candidates having the capabilities necessary to provide the above stated equipment with installation are invited to respond to this Sources Sought Notice via e-mail to Craig Brown at craig.brown7@va.gov no later than 19 Sep 2023, 3PM Pacific. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: manufacturer authorization, company name, address, and business size; point of contact name, phone number, and e-mail address; capability statement and if the services are available on a current GSA Federal Supply Schedule contract. NAICS Code 561621 is applicable to determine business size standard. Any questions or concerns may also be directed to Craig Brown via e-mail. Based on the responses received (if any) the Government may single source this requirement. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. The Government may or may not issue a solicitation as a result of this announcement. There is no solicitation available at this time.
