Description
The Army Contracting Command Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD Tenant Division requests a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for the purchase of 2 (each) hydraulic cylinders capable of reaching a load of 500,000 lbs. for testing of provisions for transportability certification references of MIL-STD-209 and STANAG 4478 in accordance with attached Purchase Description dated 30 August 2023.� This solicitation is 100% Small Business Set-Aside, The Associated North America Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 333995 Fluid Power Cylinder and Actuator Manufacturing.� Contractor shall provide a unit price for each of the items listed in the attached purchase description. The award will be based on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) and the offer that meets or exceeds the purchase description. Place of Contract Performance: U.S. ARMY ABERDEEN TEST CENTER 6850 LANYARD ROAD BUILDING 358 ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND MD 21005-5059 Requirement: The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) process described in FAR 15.101-2 will be used, meaning the award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price of proposals meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards. The technical evaluation will be a determination based on information furnished by the Contractor and in accordance with the Purchase Description. The Government is not responsible for locating or securing any information which is not identified in the offer. The Government reserves the right to make an award without discussions. In order to be considered technically acceptable, Contractor responses must provide: a. Information in enough detail to show that the Contractor is able to meet the requirements. Previous acquisitions, history, ability to fulfill requirement in addition to specifications and equipment in accordance with purchase description. b. Point of contact name and contact information, company CAGE code, DUNS number, and TIN. Partial quotes will not be evaluated by the Government. SUBMISSION PROCEDURES: All questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted to the Contract Specialist via email no later than 12 September 2023 10:00 AM.
