Description

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 13.106-l(b) (1). The US Army Contracting Command -Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) Tenant Division, 6565 Surveillance Loop Building 6001, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005; has a requirement to procure the following service: The Defense Centers Public Health � Aberdeen (DCPH-A) requires preventive maintenance, calibration, and system upgrades for a newly constructed MILCON laboratory. The service is for a 12-month base period and four (4) option periods. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract to Johnson Controls Inc., 5757 N. Greenbay Road, Milwaukee, WI 53209. Johnson Controls Inc Building Automation System (BAS) �Metasys� is the current BAS and due to the continued need for the maintenance and support services for the mission essential routine preventive maintenance and as-needed repair of the environmental monitoring systems, has been deemed critical. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAlCS) Code is 334512 (Automatic Environmental Control Manufacturing for Residential, Commercial, and Appliance Use) and the Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. All responses received within five businesses (15) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement no later than 10:00 am Eastern Standard Time (EST), 20 September 2023 with the following information: Company name.
