- THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE SUPPLY CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The Defense Health Agency intends to negotiate on a sole source basis (IAW FAR 13.501(a), Only One Responsible Source). The proposed source is Getinge USA Sales, Inc., 45 Barbour Pond Dr., Wayne, New Jersey, 07470-2094. The requirement is for full service maintenance to ensure coverage and continued operation of Steris and Getinge Sterilizer units, Washer/Decontamination units, and Boiler units located at the 13 Area Dental Clinic � Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton; 22 Area Dental Clinic � Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton; and Yuma Dental Clinic � Marine Corps Air Station, Yuma, AZ as follows: Preventative Maintenance Perform service repair/maintenance to industry standards. Ensure that only FULLY QUALIFIED ENGINEERS and TECHNICIANS who have gone through original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or comparable third-party service schools for the above mentioned equipment, shall be employed in the performance of any and all work performed under this contract.� Upon request, the contractor shall provide training certificates (or notarized copies) of professional capability and electrical/mechanical workmanship is to be maintained throughout the life of this contract. Make repairs to the extent necessary (as determined by inspection tests or disassembly) to ensure a functional system that will efficiently serve its intended purpose.� Corrective Maintenance Correct inoperable conditions in a timely manner.� Immediately upon contract award, the contractor shall provide Branch Clinics an emergency contact number.� Contractor shall respond no later than eight hours after notification. Provide only the work necessary to restore the equipment to a serviceable/operating condition by adjustments, replacement parts, or minor repairs when it is determined that extensive repairs and parts replacement are note necessary. Equipment improvements/modifications shall be made only upon Branch Clinics written approval and direction. Notify the Branch Clinic immediately upon receipt of OEM or replacement parts/equipment safety recalls notices. Ensure the original design and functional capabilities will not be changed, modified, or altered unless the Branch Clinic authorizes such changes. Provide suitable OEM recommended repair equipment/tools required for the satisfactory execution of all repairs made.� Furnish manufacturer OEM approved lubricants and lubricate wear points within the equipment. Extend to the Government all commercial warranties on replacement parts, consistent with standard industry practices. If vendor will exceed work outside of normal working hours; they must get prior approval from the Head, Biomedical Department, Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton before proceeding with any repairs. Maintain an adequate spare parts inventory. Equipment list: Steris SG-120 Steam Sterilizer Boiler 30kW General Boiler PROF 633 Sterilizer PROF Integrated Boiler 30kW-45kW Periods of Performance 01 October 2023 - 30 September 2024 There are not set-aside restrictions for this requirement.� The intended procurement will be classified under North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) 811210.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement.� However, parties interested in responding to this notice will need to submit technical data sufficient to determine capability in providing the same product.� All capability statements received by the closing date of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.� A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
