NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE FOR NM Regional Office LE K9 Vehicle Upfit TO NEW MEXICO EMERGENCY PRODUCTS, LLC THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Joint Administrative Operations, Acquisition & Property Operations intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of: FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source To NEW MEXICO EMERGENCY PRODUCTS, LLC 3211 University BLVD SE STE C Albuquerque, New Mexico 87106-5604, United States� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 336320 Motor Vehicle Electrical and Electronic Equipment Manufacturing, 1,000. � The object of this sole source award to NEW MEXICO EMERGENCY PRODUCTS, LLC is for the up fitting of one Law Enforcement vehicle for Federal Wildlife Officers in the National Wildlife Refuge System. Up-fitting consists of supply and install of law enforcement type equipment to include, light bars, siren, communications equipment, containment devices, weapons storage, and associated ancillaries. This acquisition involves the installation of specialty equipment that must adhere to national standards, repeatability, and consistency across the law enforcement vehicle fleet. Utilizing the local servicing vendor presents a best value to the government as it allows for appropriate contract oversight, prompt warranty and service availability in the operational area. This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation; however, if any interested party believes they can meet the above requirement, it may submit a statement of capabilities. The statement of capabilities must be submitted in writing and must contain clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with preparation and submission of data or any other cost incurred in response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
