- Service Address: U. S. Coast Guard Station Maui 233 Maalaea Rd Wailuku, HI 96793 Scope of Work: Period: FY23 Year: 2023 Reports to: MK1 Clayton Wendelgass (808) 986-0023 Job Summary: De-energize all electrical circuits feeding boat piers/docks before and during all repair work. Replace (1) broken 16� x 16� x 6� electrical power junction box, pull existing power lines. Location East pier face where CG boats dock. Conduct inspections of disassembled components; if any repairs are required, a report and change order request will be provided. Replace/splice existing power line if damaged from saltwater/UV exposure. Customer approval will be required prior to moving forward with any repair. Weather proofing/sealing from saltwater/air & UV exposure all connections and use rated conduit connectors. Replace (1) 8� x 8� x 4� communication junction box that�s missing a cover adjacent to line item 1.2 in the same manner as above. Re-attach or replace missing/loose hardware of the existing conduit runs between the pier and feeder. Install new uni-strut and related clamps to secure all conduit lines from distribution points to pier. Verify all terminal connections on boat piers/dock are up to current National Electrical Code (NEC) and confirm all grounding and bonding for the entire electrical system per NEC. Restore all electrical power and verify all systems are operating properly. Contractor shall execute the contract IAW this Scope of Work. The contractor is not authorized to deviate from this Scope of Work without written authorization from the Contracting Officer.� Summary of Essential Job Functions: Replacement of broken high voltage equipment will increase efficiency and prevent a electrical fire and personnel injury or death. Disclaimer: Contractor will notify USCG of all changes, issues, and/or problems associated with the completion of this job. The contractor shall be liable for all damages to Government equipment and property when such damage is due to fault or negligence of the contractor.� The contractor shall be responsible for all damages or injury to persons that occur as a result of the contractor�s fault or negligence.� The contractor shall take proper safety and health precautions to protect the work the workers, the public, and the property of others.
