Description

The United States Property and Fiscal Office for Pennsylvania intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed-price purchase order to Triguard Security Inc for the procurement and installation of a fully functional Closed Circuit Television System (CCTV) Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and Access Control System (ACS). The services required include design, installation, and commissioning these systems in accordance with design documents at Fort Indiantown Gap (FIG), Pennsylvania. All three systems shall integrate with the existing proprietary equipment and systems that are currently in use at Fort Indiantown Gap (FIG). The reason for this noncompetitive contract action is that Triguard Security Inc. has an existing contract with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for Electronic Security System (EES) services at FIG. This requires the new CCTV, IDS, and ACS to be compatible with the existing for interoperability. Securing another vendor to install the CCTV, IDS, or ACS creates the potential risk of procuring proprietary systems that does not communicate with the existing system.�When completed, the CCTV, will communicate and be monitored at the Police Station on FIG and the card ACS will be tied into the existing base wide system The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 41 United States Code 1901 as implemented in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.501(a)(1)(ii).�This contract action will be awarded following the issuance of written solicitation with an anticipated award date of September 08, 2023. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotations; however, all responsible sources�may�submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which�shall�be considered by the agency.
