Description

This RFI was previously issued in June 2023. A number of requirement updates have been made since the conclusion of the last RFI.� All updates are highlighted in yellow within the body of the RFI attachment.� The USDA Marketing and Regulatory Programs Information Technology (MRP IT) division is performing market research to identitfy potential vendors capable of providing Software as a Service (SaaS) applications/services and support services for MRP IT.� Software as a Service (Saas) follows the guidelines in NIST SP 800-145, and is defined for this acquisition as follows:� The solution shall provide the capability to the government to deploy onto the cloud infrastructure government-created or acquired applications created using programming languages, libraries, services, and tools supported by the provider. This capability does not necessarily preclude the use of compatible programming languages, libraries, services, and tools from other sources. The Government may or may not manage or control the underlying cloud infrastructure including network, servers, operating systems, or storage, but does have control over the deployed applications and possibly configuration settings for the application-hosting environment.� MRP IT will need to deploy all forms to ensure documents were designed and updated to include all identified components. This practice serves as a test to ensure each of the documents conform to the MRP IT Forms Management directives and the USDA 508 guidelines. MRP IT requires that all products developed as a result of this contract are generated in accordance with the Fed RAMP cloud environment framework and are able to be deployed within the FedRAMP cloud environment.�
