- ***LOCAL AREA SET-ASIDE*** Preference will be given to businesses� who reside in Maui County but consideration may be given to business that reside in Hawaii County.�� The President declared Disaster 4724-HI on August 10, 2023 due to the wildfires on Maui, Hawaii. The Government has a requirement for a Janitorial/Cleaning and Trash Removal Services� location to be determined� on Maui, County� HI.�� The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, transportation and supervision to provide cleaning service stated within this SOW. This shall also include removal, exchange, and delivery of all materials and equipment to included waste removal and cleaning services. The Contractor shall provide services for the lobby/entryway, restrooms, kitchen, and offices between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. Services shall be provided 7 days a week, (Monday � Sunday), twice a day at the designated location(s). Preference will be given to businesses� who reside in Maui County but consideration may be given to business that reside in Hawaii County.�� The Federal Emergency Management Agency requires a contractor to perform the following Tasks: SPECIFIC TASKS: The Contractor shall wipe down solid, high contact surfaces using a disinfectant from the EPA-registered list of products identified as effective against Novel Coronavirus SARs-COV-2 or other product containing the same active ingredient(s) at the same or greater concentration than those on the list. The Contractor shall use the product in accordance with directions provided by the manufacturer. Examples of solid, high contact surfaces include but are not limited to: handrails, door knobs, key cards, light switches, countertops, water faucets and handles, work surfaces, computer keypads and mouse, elevator buttons, sinks, toilets and control handles, restroom stall handles, toilet paper and other paper dispensers, door handles and push plates, water cooler and drinking fountain controls. Disinfected surfaces should be allowed to air dry. Task #1: Entryway � Contractor shall provide service to sweep floors twice a day, disinfect smudges from light switches, doors, door handles, and any other surfaces that is touched daily. Wipe down counter tops, empty all trash cans and recycle receptacles, replace liners as needed. Task #2: Restrooms � Contractor shall clean twice a day and shall empty all trash and recycle receptacles, replace liners as needed, and haul to designated dumpsters. Restock soap and paper supplies. Clean and disinfect partitions, doors, and doorknobs. Clean and polish all faucets, sinks, and mirrors. Dust and clean all horizontal surfaces within reach without the use of a ladder. Clean and disinfect all restrooms fixtures and paper towel dispensers. Sweep floors and mop with germicidal cleaner. PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION SURROUNDING AREAS OF TOILETS AND URINALS. Clean toilets and urinals with disinfectant/deodorizing cleaner inside and out. Make sure to clean all areas which includes the underneath, base, inside of toilets/urinals. Delivery of all materials associated with this contract shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. Task #3: Kitchen Common Area � The Contractor shall mop and vacuum kitchen area and break room floors twice a day. Empty all trash and recycle receptacles, replace liners as needed, and haul to designated dumpsters and clean wall area around the trash area. Disinfect smudges from cabinets, light switches, doors, door handles, and any other surface that is touched daily. Clean outside and inside of microwave. Clean and sanitize sinks and countertops. ��� Task #4: Offices � The Contractor shall empty all trash and recycle receptacles, replace liners as needed, and haul to designated dumpsters twice a day. Vacuum carpets main of?ce area and copy room, conference room. Disinfect smudges from light switches, doors, door handles, and any other surface that is touched daily. Dust and wipe down desktops.
