- 15' Flex Wing Mower Specs: Cutting Cutting width between 14.8"" through 15.6"" Cutting height minimum of at least 2"" and no more than 14.6"" Cutting capacity of no less than 3"" diameter Horsepower (HP) and Speed Tractor PTO between 60hp and 70hp Gearbox between 220hp to 250hp Acceptable speed no less than 540rpm up to and including 1000rpm Driveline Category 5 or greater for both main and wing Deck Construction Heavy Duty - Heavy duty construction required due to the normal operation and function of the decks requiring them to cut tall grass which hides objects that will frequently damage the decks. IE: rocks, stumps, concrete markers, metal utility valves, etc... 7 gauge steel or better Should include, but not limited to, items such as: vital areas with reinforcement and/or protective plating and/or skid plates Grease Fittings at all pivot points Tires Size between 20"" through 30"" Foam filled or better is required due to both road travel and type oflandscape areas being mowed Laminated Tires are not made for road travel Safety Safety deflectors single or double are expectable Safety deflectors made of chain or stronger material required. Plastic or rubber is not acceptable Jack Stand Other Hitch assembly - Type of advanced hitch assembly that accounts for terrain. Name changes per manufactures but most manufactures have these available.
