- Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic intends to award a sole-source contract to DSR Advanced ISR, LLC, 651 Anchors Street NW, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548 USA to to repair of various circuit card assemblies which will include part numbers: 9102A/DTM/25M1, 25 each, 9104B/DTM/25M-1, 15 each, and 797336-01, 4 each to be repaired by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). These various electronic components are necessary for proper operation of the AN/SSQ-137 SSEE INC E system. To deviate from the approved configuration, or item description would adversely affect the standard configuration and require extensive software and / or hardware installation changes. In order to ensure that the various circuit cards and assemblies are returned in to their factory operation, only the OEM's sister company, DRS Advanced ISR, LLC � APS Group can evaluate, repair and test the units back to their original working condition that is compatible within the SSEE INC E System. If any other company was to complete the repairs, it would create the risk that they would not restore them to the correct condition in order to be compatible with The Ship System Exploitation Equipment, (SSEE) An/SSQ-137 system since they do not have the propriety rights that DRS Advanced ISR, LLC � APS Group possess. The authority for soliciting from a single source is FAR 13.106(b)(1). The Government anticipates the award of a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order. The proposed contract action is for supplies and incidental services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a single source under authority of FAR 13.106-1
