Description
THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number NB672010-23-02562 is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) conducted under the authority of FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This RFQ, incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2023-04 dated 06/02/2023. The associated NAICS 334515 - Instrument Manufacturing for Measuring and Testing Electricity and Electrical Signals has a small business size standard of 750 employees. This requirement is full and open competition. Attached is the Specifications describing the requirements for solicitation NB672010-23-02562 for the following line item number(s) (CLINs) to include description of item(s), quantities, and units of measure. Defense Priorities and Allocations Systems (DPAS) and assigned rating is not applicable to this request for quote (RFQ). Offerors must submit all questions concerning this solicitation in writing, via email, to the Contracting Officer, Clifford Nicholson at clifford.nicholson@nist.gov.� Questions should be received no later than five (5) calendar days after the issuance date of this solicitation. All responses to the questions will be made in writing, without identification of the questioner, and will be included in an amendment to the solicitation. Even if provided in other form, the question responses included in the amendment to the solicitation will govern performance of the contract. Background/Scope: The National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) in Boulder, Colorado, has a requirement for two (2) 1.85mm Absorptive Switches in accordance with the Requirements/Specifications document attached herein to allow NIST to provide switching capabilities in experimental setups. Contractor must meet ALL specifications. This shall be provided in accordance with the Requirements/Specifications documentation included herein. All offerors shall provide a firm fixed price (FFP) quotation for the following line item: (All equipment must be new. Used, refurbished, prototype, or remanufactured will not be considered for award).
