Description

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE���� The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) has a requirement for preventive maintenance and repair various pieces of hospital janitorial equipment at its facility located at 2002 Holcombe Blvd. in Houston, TX 77030.� Services include preventive maintain and repair of various pieces of janitorial equipment used to maintain a sanitary, safe, and aesthetically pleasing environment to patients and staff.� Equipment must comply with all applicable codes and manufacturers recommended specifications for safe operation. The contract is expected to be firm, fixed-price for one 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods. This is a pre-solicitation notice only. Interested parties should watch for the issuance of the solicitation and associated documents on or about September 5, 2023, which will contain the specific instructions and work requirements.���� The solicitation will be issued as a Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned, Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside in accordance with VA Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) 819.7006 under NAICS code 811310, with a small business size standard of $12,500,000. All interested parties must be listed in the U.S. Small Business Administration�s Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) database at https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/ as of the date of their quote and be listed in VetCert and registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov, as of the date of award.� Award will NOT be delayed for registration. This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice only. No pricing is being requested at this time.
