Description
This request for information (RFI) is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered as a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP), or promise to use as a future RFQ or RFP. This RFI is to determine the availability of businesses to include small businesses to provide the required products and/or services.�This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. Further, the Air Force is not currently seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to the RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFQ, if issued.�� The David Grant Medical Center (DGMC) at Travis, AFB, CA� has a requirment for an�Auditory Evoked Potentials (AEP) + Auditory Steady State Response (ASSR)+Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potential (VEMP) Equipment. The device must have the capability for AEP, ASSR, VEMP and Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE) testing all on one platform. Having all these capabilities in one device will support 60 SGCS ability to provide in-house diagnostic newborn hearing testing as well as sedated diagnostic audiological evaluations for pediatric patients.� Equipment must provide objective and mathematical information within the recording to assist with waveform analysis allowing for a reduction in test time and confidence in diagnosis. �In addition, equipment must have ASSR software that utilizes the Narrow Band CE-Chirp stimuli to generate maximal responses, which makes the detection fast and efficient. Also included is VEMP testing ability which provides an evaluation of utricle and saccule functions for vestibular assessment and management. Protocol must provide a reliable automated Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) test with a sensitivity of 99.9% and a specificity of 96% and reduce test time by up to 50% when compared to traditional ABR testing � this will be crucial when expanding pediatric operations.� The vendor will provide the following: Installation and staff training for the equipment (3 personnel) must be included Must provide capability for AEP, ASSR, VEMP and OAE testing all on one platform to support ENT/Audio clinic Must contain clinical VEMP evaluation protocols for assessing utricle and saccule involvement in vestibular pathology. Must have Narrow Band CE-Chirp stimuli to generate maximal responses Must have an Fmp graph to provide objective and mathematical information based on multiple points within the recording to assist with waveform analysis testing for infants Must include OtoAccess database Must include Laptop Computer � compatible with requested equipment operating system: Windows 10 Pro Must include�compatible�printer compatible with requested equipment Respondents are requested to provide the following information:� Business Name and Address Name of company representative and their business title Business Size and Type of Small Business (if applicable) CAGE code UEI Number Vendor must provide and/or demonstrate the ability to satisfy all the requirements listed above or in the Statement of Need. Vendor must also demonstrate the ability to satisfy the delivery timeline.
