- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. THIS IS NOT A NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR QUOTATION BUT INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY!� No contract will be awarded from this posting.� This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government.� All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.� The purpose of this sources sought is to gain knowledge of potentially qualified sources.� Please do not request a copy of solicitation as one does not exist at this time.� As permitted by FAR Part 10, this is a market research tool being utilized for informational and planning purposes.� Your responses will assist the Government in the development of its acquisition strategy and set aside determination. Please note:� All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and be active.� The website for registration is www.sam.gov. The 50th Contracting Squadron at Schriever SFB CO seeks potential sources capable of repairing/replacing exterior and interior doors and providing personnel, supervision, labor, supplies, tools, materials, transportation, and equipment necessary to repair or replace all doors with issues in Bldg 30, Bldg 300, Bldg 301 and Bldg 401. �All are glazed aluminum framed doors except for one steel door.� If doors are not able to be repaired with new hardware/adjustments, the contractor will remove existing door and replace with a new door of the same style as to match other doors in the area.� Door frames will also need to be repaired or replace.� ADA press buttons will be repaired/replaced along with the operators.� See attached DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW) for additional information.� Comments and/or suggestions on the SOW are encouraged and requested to be included in your capabilities package.� If you have the capability and are interested in this requirement, submit a detailed capability statement which, at a minimum, identifies the following:� 1.� Address relevant past performance with evidence of similar work completed in the last three years, to include dollar value, type/brand of system and how those efforts relate to this requirement regarding the PWS. 2.� Point of contact including name, phone number, physical address and email 3.� Size status and/or SBA certification, e.g., Large Business, Small Business, 8(a), SDVOSB, WOSB, EWOSB, HUBZone, etc. 4.� Identify any GSA or similar contracts you have 5.� Provide suggestions if the NAICS is acceptable or should be changed. 6.� Are there any major performance or schedules risks such as long lead times for the doors, ADA operators, etc.?� If so, please identify them. 7.� Would a site visit be beneficial for this requirement? 8.� Comments/recommendations for improving or clarifying the draft PWS. 7.� Any other comments/recommendations the Government should consider?
