- INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Navajo Area Indian Health Services (NAIHS), Kayenta Health Center intends to negotiate a one-time, sole source, firm fixed priced contract with DATARAY, INC, 1141 SE Grand Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73129 to provide Annual Printer Software Maintenance Services. The DataRay Inc. provides specialized software and expertise to rapidly integrate, install, manage & support automatic identification technologies.� This Annual Support benefits all of the Kayenta Service Unit three facilities� clinical departments. This service ensures that the system that generates labels and wristbands with data directly from RPMS is operational and functioning correctly which is used by inpatient and outpatient departments. �The DataRay printers reduces the chances for error when identifying patients and for the correct labeling of their prescriptions, lab testing and radiology exams and all other clinical visits. DATARAY, INC already provides this support at Kayenta Health Center. �This acquisition is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Annual Software Maintenance Services Support by assisting with printer installation, setup and configuration of existing printers. The service will also provide troubleshooting assistance when printers are not working correctly.� Sole Sources Authority cited FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.� Due to the particular requirements of this solicitation, the proposed vendor meets the needs of the requestor which are most advantageous to the Government in terms of economy, efficiency, reliability of services. Therefore, DATARAY, INC. is the only vendor capable of fulfilling the requirements of Kayenta Health Center. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Only emailed responses will be considered. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence, that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. Last day to provide affirmative written response is August 13th, 2023 @ 10am MST. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement base upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
