- Description
- This announcement is for market research purposes only and should not be construed as a solicitation announcement. The submission of this information is for planning purposes only. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, travel and supplies necessary to provide court reporter services as specified for the Office of Subsistence Management (OSM), as well as other U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) programs as needed. The Office of Subsistence Management has a requirement for court reporting and transcription services of Federal Subsistence Regional Advisory Council meetings as well as Federal Subsistence Board meetings. The Regional Advisory Councils are divided into 10 regional areas in Alaska and provide input to the Federal Subsistence Board. Regional Advisory Councils meet twice per year in locations throughout the State of Alaska, for a minimum of 20 Regional Advisory Council meetings. The Federal Subsistence Board conducts one large public meeting a year and could possibly have two to three work sessions that would require court reporting. (Draft schedule of the next round of Regional Advisory Council meetings will be attached). Meetings will sometimes be conducted in remote areas of Alaska, determined by the Regional Advisory Councils in coordination with OSM. The following list shows some of the meeting locations since 2008. These locations are listed as historical information only, as future meetings may be held at any location within Alaska deemed appropriate by the Councils and OSM. Meetings may be a combination of in-person and virtual attendance. Recording/transcription services need to accommodate the possibility of both.
