Description
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Administration for Children and Families (ACF), Government Contracting Services (GCS), Office of Human Services Emergency Preparedness and Response (OHSEPR), hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Council On Social Work Education, 333 John Carlyle Street, STE 400, Alexandria, VA 22314-5745 in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) only one source reasonably available under Exclusive Licensing Agreement.� THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement.� The requirement is for�establishing a ACF OHSEPR Specialized Practice Curricular Guide to serve as a supplemental resource for accredited social work programs and educators on relevant topics in social work. The guide shall be produced by a task force of national content experts.�Curricular Guides are created jointly with the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) staff and task force participants, the task force is led by two co-chairs and nine/ten national task force members (competency writers). Task force members can be selected by CSWE staff and co-chairs or by an open call. Task force participants may include: CSWE members, social work professionals and/or interdisciplinary professionals. Users can select from and access the suggested resources for each of the nine social work competencies found in the 2022 Educational Policy and Accreditation Standards (EPAS). The final product shall be available as an educational and curricular resource to all 50,000 CSWE members, including all accredited Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and Master of Social of Work (MSW) programs in the United States. The guide shall be approximately 150-250 pages in length and shall be an electronic resource. Interested firms may submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement. Responses must be received at the Contract Specialist no later than�5:00 PM EST, 7 August 2023.
