Description
The Embassy of the United States of America in Riyadh has a requirement for supply and installation of Carpet. All literature and discussions pertaining to this project will be in the English language. Any translations if desired by the offerors must be made at their expense.� If you intend to submit a quotation, please ensure to include Technical Specification document. The offer will not be accepted without a physical sample. 1. Broadloom or Handloom Carpet *Physical Sample is required Qty- 150 sqm. 2. Carpet Pad *Physical sample is required Qty- 150 sqm. Installation SOW: Area carpets shall have 12 inches (30cm) clearance from the rectangular sides of the wall with wool serge edges. Color should be in the color pallet of the residence flooring or slightly lighter. *Site visit is required for actual measurements. Site Visit A site visit and Q&A session will be held on Thursday, August 3rd, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. (Saudi Arabian Time). Offerors interested to attend the session should send their representative names on or before close of business Tuesday, August 1st, 2023 to the following email RiyadhContracting@state.gov Proposal Submission: The proposal must be submitted by email at RiyadhContracting@state.gov, on or before 17:00 Hrs., August 14th, 2023.� No proposal will be accepted after this time. Technical Capability: The proposal shall meet all the requirements contained herein. The offerors shall provide with their proposal, at a minimum, in written English the following information. Evidence that the offeror operates an established business with a permanent address and telephone listing and is registered to conduct business in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Responsibility will be determined by analyzing whether the apparent successful offeror complies with the requirement of FAR subpart 9.1 including: Ability to comply with the required performance period, taking into consideration all existing commercial and governmental business commitments. Satisfactory record of integrity and business ethics. Necessary organization, experience, and skills or the ability to obtain them. Necessary equipment and facilities or the ability to obtain them; and Be otherwise qualified and eligible to receive an award under applicable laws and regulations. The embassy will not provide any documentation related to shipping or customs and its solely the responsibility of offeror to deliver the items within the specified delivery time. Delivery Instructions: No later than 7 days after the receiving of purchase order. Delivery to US Embassy Riyadh Warehouse Installation of carpet must be included in the quotation. Other requirements: A proposal MUST be dated, signed, and valid for 30 calendar days from submittal to the Embassy. Offeror must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database before an award can be made to them (if the project price exceeds $20,000). If the offeror is not registered in the SAM, it may do so through the SAM website via goggle chrome at https://www.sam.gov� (also see attached quick start guide for international entity registration in SAM) All proposals and other correspondence must be in English language. Contract award will be subject to the laws and regulations of the United States of America and is being competed utilizing full and open completion procedures. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to reject all proposals and to waive any information or minor irregularities in proposals received. Payment terms: Payment will be processed in 30 days upon receipt of item(s) ordered & invoiced, according to the Prompt Payment Act. Sample Delivery Local Vendors can deliver the physical samples at the US Embassy Front Gate. Off-shore vendors can deliver the physical samples to the below address.
