Description
This pre-solicitation synopsis is published for informational purposes only. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Synopsis: The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to award a cost plus fixed fee modification to Textron Systems Corporation (Address: 19401 Chef Menteur Highway, New Orleans, LA, 70129) for up to 15,000 additional Level of Effort (LOE) hours in support of �Ship to Shore Connector (SSC) craft, under contract N00024-17-C-2480 for Special Studies, Analyses, and Reviews support. �This modification will provide the ability to analyze: Engineering for Hull, Mission, Machinery, and C4N Systems; Cost Estimating Processes and Procedures; Human Systems Integration; Integrated Logistics Support; Environmental Compliance, Test, and Evaluation; and Total Ship Survivability.� The period of performance for the additional hours is from the date of modification award through 31 December 2026. This requirement will be negotiated on a sole-source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. �There is only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. �Textron is the only responsible source capable of satisfying agency requirements in this contract to support the SSC Program and no other type of services will satisfy agency requirements in a timely manner.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. �This announcement is published for informational purposes only.
