- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, National Cemetery Administration intends to issue a solicitation entitled, �806CM3029 Camp Butler Road Repairs and Correct IT Deficiencies� at Camp Butler National Cemetery, on or about August 11, 2023, unless additional notice is given, or this notice is modified or cancelled. The full solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on Federal Contract Opportunities at sam.gov. Bids will be due 30 calendar days after the solicitation is published. The acquisition type for this solicitation will be Invitation for Bid (IFB). This IFB will utilize the Electronic Bid delivery and Telephonic Bid opening process. The process will be outlined in the solicitation. The VA anticipates that this requirement will be a SDVOSB set-aside in accordance with Public Law 109-461; however, if market research results in no reasonable expectation of receiving two or more bids at fair and reasonable prices, the set-aside selection may be changed to either a VOSB or Small Business set-aside. The construction magnitude for this requirement is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The NAICS is 237310 � Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction and the business size standard is $45.0 Million. The basic scope of work is as follows: CLIN 1: GENERAL CONSTRUCTION: The contractor will provide all labor, material, and equipment necessary to construct the road repairs as shown on the plans and described in the specifications. Work of the contract includes but not limited to general conditions, construction of storm drain repairs, curb and gutter repair, full depth asphalt replacement, partial depth asphalt replacement; correction on IT deficiencies, and electrical infrastructure upgrades, and all other work necessary to construct the improvements as shown and described on the contract documents. The contractor will have one hundred and fifty (150) calendar days to complete the work from the date of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). BID OPTION #1: Full depth asphalt replacement and asphalt pavement mill and overlay indicated on drawing sheets CS111 through CS114; add thirty (30) calendar days to the period of performance. BID OPTION #2: Asphalt pavement overlay indicated on drawing sheets CS121 through CS124; add thirty (30) calendar days to the period of performance. BID OPTION #3: Asphalt pavement overlay and asphalt pavement sealing indicated on drawing sheets CS131 through CS134; add thirty (30) calendar days to the period of performance.
