- Description
- The purpose of this solicitation amendment is to provide an updated PWS and to respond to questions from industry. Please see Updated PWS 7-27-23.docx attached regarding Keys. Updated language is highlighted. Questions and Answers: DO THE VAMC AND CBOCS HAVE MOUNTING POINTS FOR THE CURRENT SHARPS CONTAINERS? Yes, anything small should have an existing mounting point either on a wall or crash cart. The larger containers are on a dolly on the floor. IF CONTAINERS ARE PRESENT WILL THESE MOUNTING POINTS NEED TO BE REPLACED? If the proposed containers do not fit existing mounting points, then the mounting points will need to be replaced. CAN THE CURRENT MOUNTING POINTS BE USED TO SUPPORT THE NEW CONTAINERS? Yes, as long as the containers fit and can be removed by the technician or EMS Staff.
