THIS NOTICE IS BEING ISSUED TO DETERMINE IF THERE IS SUFFICIENT� INTEREST FROM QUALIFIED PRIME CONTRACTORS who are small businesses, HUBZone small businesses, woman owned small business concerns, 8(a) small businesses, or service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses and who intend to submit a bid for this solicitation to allow for a set-aside in one of these programs.� Interested businesses must submit the following by e-mail to cflacquisitions@dot.gov�(Attn:� Kelly Palmer) for receipt by close of business (2 p.m. local Denver time) on August 8, 2023 � (1) A positive statement of your intention to submit a bid for this solicitation as a Prime Contractor; (2) A list of all confirmed socioeconomic categories (i.e., 8(a), small disadvantaged business, HUBZone small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, EDWOSB, or WOSB status) that apply to your business; (3) A letter from a bonding agent stating your firm�s capability to bond for a single project of $20 million, and your firm�s aggregate bonding capacity; and (4) Provide a list of roadway rehabilitation construction projects of equal or greater value and scope to the UT NP CARE 10(2) 100(1) � Scenic Drive and Goosenecks Road project in which you performed roadway excavation, aggregate base, asphalt concrete pavement, concrete curb, culverts, micro surfacing, crack sealing, and temporary traffic control. �DO NOT SEND INFORMATION ON PROJECTS THAT DO NOT INCLUDE THE ABOVE WORK. The size of a small business firm includes all parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, etc.� Refer to the Code of Federal Regulations 13 CFR 121.103 for information on how the SBA determines affiliation and 13 CFR 121.108 regarding the penalties for misrepresentation of size status.� All firms should be certified in the System for Award Management (SAM) located at https://www.sam.gov/ Project Details: UT NP CARE 10(2) 100(1) � Scenic Drive and Goosenecks Road PROJECT DESCRIPTION:� The UT NP CARE 10(2)100(1), Scenic Drive and Goosenecks Road, project is in Capitol Reef National Park approximately 10.9 miles west of the Torrey Utah and 45.3 miles west of Boulder Utah. The project is proposing to rehabilitate (3R) roads and parking lots and pavement preservation on routes within Capital Reef National Park. The project is broken up into a schedule with three options, described below. SCOPE OF THE WORK:� The project is proposing to rehabilitate (3R) approximately 6.40 miles of road along with pullouts for schedule A. Option X is a (3R) rehabilitation of the Visitor Center parking lot. Option Y is a (3R) rehabilitation of the Chimney Rock parking lot. Option Z pavement preservations of various roadway and parking lots within Capital Reef National Park. For both Schedule A and Option X and Y the roads parking lots, and pullouts are in need rehabilitation due to deterioration that is typical of aging pavements. The existing pavement section on both roadways are in poor condition with roadway cracking and aggregate surfacing. Options Z is proposing to pavement preservation 10 miles of roadways within Dinosaur National Monument CO and UT units for the Park. This pavement preservation work will include crack sealing, asphalt patching, micro sealing, and chip sealing.
