- Description
- Andersen Air Force Base, Guam has a design-build construction requirement to repair the installation command post radio and antenna system at Building 21007. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This is a Design-Build project intended to repair the Installation Command Post Radio and Antenna System. This project includes, but is not limited to, the installation of four (4) Government Furnished Contractor Installed (GFCI) antennas with spare for future antennas and associated mounting brackets on the roof which includes the installation of conduits, GFCI cables, pull boxes, cable trays, associated hardware, associated grounding, and bonding, required testing, firestopping, associated drilling, concrete scanning, and restoration of affected areas. Facility will be designed as permanent construction in accordance with Department of Defense Unified Facilities Criteria 1-200-01. This project will comply with Department of Defense antiterrorism/force protection requirements per Unified Facilities Criteria 4-010-01. The performance period of this project is 210 calendar days commencing on the date of contract award. MAGNITUDE FAR 36.204(c): $100,000 - $250,000 LOCATION OF WORK: The project is located at Building 21007, Andersen Air Force Base, Guam TENTATIVE DATE OF ISSUE: The solicitation number for this acquisition will be FA524023R0031 and will be available for retrieval at sam.gov once posted on or about 08 August 2023. RESTRICTION TO SMALL BUSINESS: This acquisition is being competed as a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Small Business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 237130, Power and Communication Line and Related Structures Construction with a small business size standard of $45 million. The eventual contract for this acquisition is contemplated to be Firm-Fixed Price (FFP).� PLANS & INSPECTION: Available planning documentation will be provided in the solicitation. A pre-proposal site visit will be advertised in the solicitation.� OTHER INFORMATION: The solicitation for this acquisition will be issued electronically and will be publicized via sam.gov. Interested offerors are responsible for retrieving their own copy of the solicitation and all associated documents from the sam.gov website as no paper copies will be furnished.
