Description

Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) intends to award a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee sole-source contract to Electric Boat Corporation (EB) of Groton, CT. The Government requires the Contractor to provide engineering and technical support services in support of weapon systems and subsystems for the Ballistic Missile Submarine (SSBN) and Guided Missile Submarine (SSGN) Programs for the United States and United Kingdom. Only EB possesses the requisite subject matter expertise and demonstrated qualifications and experience performing engineering and technical support services in support of weapon systems and subsystems for the SSBN and Guided Missile Submarine SSGN Programs efforts. The base period of performance will be from 01 May 2024 to 30 April 2025, with four one-year options, for a total period of performance of 01 May 2024 to 30 April 2029. It will also include provisions that would allow for level of effort increases up to 30%. �Award will be made using other than full and open competition. �No Solicitation package is available. This NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. �While all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency, this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All responses must be received within fifteen days from the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
