Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is SP4706-23-Q-0014 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-04. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334516 with a small business size standard of 1000 employees. This requirement invites full and open competition. All qualified sellers may submit quotes. The solicitation pricing on https://sam.gov will start on the date this solicitation is posted, and, unless otherwise displayed at https://sam.gov, will end on: 2023-07-31 10:00 AM Eastern Time. FOB Destination shall be Philadelphia, PA 19111 The Product Test Center (PTC) End User requires the following item, Brand Name or Equal, to the following: a self-contained instrument for measuring Ultraviolet-Visible-Near Infrared Spectroscopy (UV-VIS-NIR), a non-destructive, non-contact optical characterization technique used to measure reflectance, absorbance, and transmittance of liquids and solids using ultraviolet, visible, and near-infrared light wavelengths. The instrument optic measures the intensity of various wavelengths of light absorbed/transmitted/reflected from a sample. The unit shall be a benchtop unit. It shall include control software, and computer to run the control software. The UV-VIS-NIR will be used in determining absorption, transmission, and spectral reflectance within a variety of test samples heavily based in textiles. 1, EA; Additional required technical specifications are listed in Section C of the attached solicitation document.
