Description

This is a Notice of Intent (NOI) to Sole Source a procurement under FAR Part 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services, and FAR 13.501(a)(i), Soliciting from a single source. Please see the attached Justification document. This requirement is for the procurement of 4,220 Crosman Challenger CH2021S Air Rifles, and related collateral for delivery to 226 different MCJROTC units across the US & abroad, and Crosman Certified Armorer training for 25 instructors. The USMC Regional Contracting Office (RCO), Marine Corps Installations-National Capital Region (MCI-NCR) at Quantico, VA, intends to award a sole source contract to Crosman Corporation, 7629 STATE ROUTE 5 AND 20, BLOOMFIELD, NY 14469 USA. The MCI-NCR RCO intends to award this requirement under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1),��Use of procedures other than competitive procedures. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Capability statements or quotes, if received timely, will be considered; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
