- Sources Sought Notice Vitros 4600 Chemistry System, Brand Name or Equal Sources Sought #1104217-SS This is a Sources Sought notice Only.� This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. �This Sources Sought is issued for information and planning purposes only as part of USDA ARS market research and does not itself constitute an RFQ. �Background: Specifications Title: Vitros 4600 Chemistry System, Brand Name or Equal Technical requirements: Vitros 4600 Chemistry System, Brand Name or Equal, must be capable of the following: Power Line voltage: 1 dedicated 20 amp power line, nominal 200-240V AC Line frequency: 47-63 Hz Environment Plumbing: No water or drain required; self-contained onboard waste management to eliminate need for off-board plumbing (THIS IS A CRITICAL SPECIFICATION) Data Storage Read/write disk drive for data input and archiving USB flash drive capability Reagents: No mixing or reconstitution required for reagent packs Onboard stability up to 30+ days Shelf life stability >1 year from date of manufacture User-defined channels >8 available at any time System Startup No manual primes, purges, washes, or tubing maintenance Sample Types Serum, plasma, urine, CSF, whole blood (for %hemoglobin A1C) Sample Volume Dead volume minimum ?50�L (50 microliters) Sample Capacity Continuous load and unload Sample and Reagent Management Verify sample aspiration and dispense, eliminate carryover and cross-contamination Detect clot, bubble, low and high viscosity, and short sample Liquid level sensing Sample Containers Universal sample trays that can accommodate 5mL, 7mL, and 10 mL collection tubes as well as microsample cups that can be reliably used for samples less than 0.5mL.
