Description

REQUIREMENTS The Applied Electrical Metrology group at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for a quantity of ten (10) 100 ampere transconductance amplifiers for AC and DC power measurements. The 100 ampere transconductance amplifiers need to be able to be placed in parallel to allow up to 1000 amperes to be generated for dc and ac power measurements. For this requirement, NIST has identified a commercial product that can satisfy minimum technical specifications. Products other than those identified will be considered, if those products meet or exceed the salient characteristics outlined below: The Contractor shall provide a quantity of ten (10) 100 ampere transconductance amplifiers that meet the following minimum specifications: Brand name or equal to: Fluke 52120A Frequency range:� dc to 9 kHz Output current 100 amperes dc and ac Output isolation, current terminal to earth, 820 Vpeak current output ranges:� minimum ranges of 2A, 20A and 100A Compliance Voltage:� 4.5 Vrms (6.4 Vpeak) Transconductance current gain accuracy minimum specification:� 0.015% at Full Scale for dc, 0.035% at full scale for 60 Hz.� GP-IB Interface Instructions to Responders: NIST is seeking responses from all responsible sources, including large, foreign, and small businesses that can provide 100 ampere transconductance amplifiers that meets or exceed the above described minimum requirements.
