- Description
- Lake Mead National Recreation Area is seeking interested and capable contractors for the following work. Offerors may send a capability and interest statement to Bradley_metler@nps.gov by close of this sources sought notice (7/20/23 5PM PT). The acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 238210 with a size standard of $19M. This acquisition will be handled as a request for quote in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 12 and 13. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated. The project magnitude is estimated between $100,000 and $250,000. Place of performance will be Katherine Landing, AZ (Lake Mead National Recreation Area). The Work consists of: supply and installation of two (2) new diesel-powered backup generators and all necessary connections at Katherine Landing water treatment facility and Barge/UV area at Lake Mead National Recreation Area (see Map). The selected generators must meet the power requirements for each area (contractor to verify). Additionally, a 3-way power transfer switch with generator connection will need to be installed at the water plant building (contractor shall determine generator output required). The generators shall be a �soft tone� natural color which compliments the surroundings (beige/brown). Photos will be provided on of desired general location(s) as well as identified in a scheduled site visit during the RFQ. The water plant generator electric cable shall be installed in conduit and placed below the grade of the sidewalk to prevent tripping hazard and then sidewalk shall be regrouted and returned to original grade after conduit installation.
