- ***This notice is updated on 7/10/2023.� The Government intends to award an 8(a) direct award for a period of performance for one year.� NO ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REGARDING THE ANTICIPATED 8(a) AWARD IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.�In accordance with�FAR 5.202(a)(4),��The contracting officer need not submit the notice required by�FAR 5.201 when�proposed contract action is expressly authorized or required by a statute to be made through another Government agency, including acquisitions from the Small Business Administration (SBA) using the authority of section 8(a) of the Small Business Act (but see�5.205(f)), or from a specific source such as a workshop for the blind under the rules of the Committee for Purchase from People Who Are Blind or Severely Disabled.*** ***A competitive follow-on acquisition is anticipated.� Additional information will be posted to SAM.gov.*** ***Point of Contact information is also updated on 7/10/2023. That identifier is changed from 541519 to 541512.*** On 16 March 2023, the Information Technology Management Office for the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) will host an Industry Day event for its Enterprise Development, Application and Training requirement (see Statement of Objectives attached). Date: 16 March 2023 Place: SOFWERX located at 1925 E 2nd Ave Suite 102, Tampa, FL 33605. Time: 0900 � 1600 ET We cordially invite industry partners to participate in this Industry Day.� Registration must be completed by 23 February 2023.� Only�two�representatives per company will be permitted.� We will limit in-person participation to 120 individuals.� Registration will be administered on a first come, first serve basis. If in-person registration reaches capacity, we will provide a Zoom link for virtual participants.� Virtual participation will be limited to companies not registered to attend in person.��Registration is required for both in-person and virtual participation.��No more than 20 companies may register and have access via Zoom.
