COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION 69727619Q000018- M/V BARBARA LOIS DRY DOCK AND REPAIRS This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice.� This solicitation is advertised as a small business set-aside action.� The proposed award will be made as lowest price of proposals meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards for non-cost factors. This combined synopsis/solicitation WILL be posted to BETASAM (https://www.sam.gov/ ). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued.� PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. The RFQ number is 69727619Q000018, PLEASE SUBMIT QUOTES ON THE ATTACHED SPREADSHEET. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions.� The FAR clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses http://www.acquisition.gov/far/. The full text of the Transportation Acquisition Regulations (TAR) (1252.), are attached. �The NAICS code is 336611 and the Small Business Standard is 1000 employees. The U.S. Maritime Administration (MARAD), New Orleans intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order for �DryDock services for blasting, painting and making repairs on the M/V Barbara Lois.�� The M/V Barbara Lois is located at 2600 Amoco Road, Beaumont Texas, 77705. The Statement of Work and the vendor price sheet are attached to this solicitation. SHIP CHECK � SITE VISIT A site visit will be conducted onboard the M/V Barbara Lois at 08:00 a.m. CDT on July 18th and 19th 2023. �Located at 2600 Amoco Road, Beaumont, Texas 77705. POC: Carolyn Quinn, USDOT- Maritime Administration (MARAD), Div. of Gulf Operations, New Orleans Office, 500 Poydras St., New Orleans, LA 70130; e-mail: carolyn.quinn@dot.gov. The site visit is highly encouraged for all companies planning to submit a quote.
