Description

The purpose of this contract is to provide Change of Occupancy Maintenance (COM) on an average of 450 dorm rooms each year, and to perform other minor maintenance for dormitory rooms and common areas on Malmstrom Air Force Base (MAFB). �The Contractor shall furnish all personnel, labor, equipment, computers, transportation, tools, supervision, quality control, management, and other items and actions necessary to perform these services in accordance with (IAW) this Performance Work Statement (PWS).� NOTE � all repair materials, supplies and storage/work space will be provided by the government (see 1.8 for additional details). Contractor personnel continuity (i.e. having a permanently-assigned crew, instead of rotating personnel in and out from a larger pool of employees) is highly desired, due to unique requirements and the learning curve of working in the dorm complex.� The Contractor will strive to keep employee turnover to an absolute minimum. Work hours will be established between the hours of 0730-1630.� No after-hours work or standby will be required.� The Contractor must work to sustain a positive working relationship with the Airman Dorm Leader (ADLs) and Dorm Manager, daily communicating work status and issues. �The Contractor must be responsive to unique or unscheduled requests that may arise unexpectedly, and to foster a culture of constant communication within the Contract team, and with residents and the Dorm Staff.�
