- Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source contract. This is not a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole source contract for a base year plus four (4) one (1) year option periods, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) fixed priced contract with R. Keith Enterprises Inc, dba The Respiratory Agency, 10502 Johanna Ave, Riverview, FL 33578. To provide off-site in-home respiratory therapy services (RTS) for invasive and non-invasive ventilated patients and other respiratory compromise patients requiring Lung Expansion and Airway Clearance (LEAC) therapy as ordered by JAHVH provider, to Veteran beneficiaries serviced by JAHVH Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Unit. The Respiratory Agency is the only vendor that can provide these services in the local area. Since the intent is to procure this on a sole source basis, no solicitation will be posted to Contract Opportunities. The applicable NAICS code is 621399 with a $7.5M size standard. The PSC is Q521. The authority for this action is FAR 6.302.1-1 Only One Responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
