- Description
- The U.S. Army Contracting Command � Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Natick Division, in support of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command � Soldier Center (DEVCOM-SC) Soldier Protection Directorate (SPD), intends to award a Firm Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis to Sensors Unlimited, Inc. located at 330 Carter Rd. Suite 100, Princeton, NJ 08540, under the authority as prescribed in FAR 13.106(b)(1). The requirement for the Disruptive Material and Fibers Team is for the purchase of a tactical Short Wave Infrared (SWIR) Pocket Scope, or SPS, to support ongoing and future material development efforts for signature management (camouflage and multifunctional materials). The SPS will provide Measurement and Signatures Intelligence, allowing detection, identifying, and describing the signature of fixed or dynamic target sources in the shortwave infrared region of the electromagnetic spectrum. The SPS operates in the 0.7 to 1.7 microns waveband, can image through haze, dust and smoke, weighs just one pound and can save SWIR images and video on a removeable memory card. Description of Requirements (Deliverables): � �� SWIR Pocket Scope (SPS) 9000-0217, ITAR XII*(c)(2)(i) � � � � �-� 640x512 (12.5 um pitch) SWIR Pocket Scope with 50 mm (M1) lens. The SPS provides users handheld imaging capability in the 0.7 � 1.7 um wavelength range while operating with a 50 mm, f/1.4 lens providing an 11� HFOV. The SPS kit includes SPS system with 50 mm (M1) lens, associated 1064 nm daytime filter, SPS soft pouch, 2 x CR-123A batteries, Quick Reference Guide and Operator�s Manual. � �� L1 Lens Accessory Kit (Long Range) for SPS - ITAR XII(e)(18) � � � � �- 128mm, f/2.0 lens with 3.6� FOV. Includes filter for daytime laser spotting (1064/combat). � �� CABLE ASSY, EXTERNAL, POWER AND VIDEO - EAR 7A611.x. � � � � �- Compatible with SPS systems. Omnetics nano-circular connector to a split Tajimi TR05-JB2F for external power input and Pasternack E33451LF-24BNC for external RS170 video output. � �� Cable Assy, TSE-5590-2Pin � � � � �- 5590 type / External DC power adapter cable � �� CASE, FOAM FILLED � � � � �- PEL1400F-BLK � �� �Extended Warranty ( 2 years beyond factory warranty, 3 years total) The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334511 and the size standard is 1350 employees.
