Description

REQUEST FOR INFORMATION / SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE This not a request for quotes; the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8 San Juan, Puerto Rico is currently conducting a market survey for potential small business qualified firms capable of providing internet services including any tools, materials, equipment and personnel for initial installation and/or cabling as necessary to provide the internet access services at the specified area. The services consist of providing reliable internet access to the Patient Education Center (PEC) computers which are not part of the facility network; therefore, a new installation and/or cabling from the nearest access point up to the PEC needs to be included. PEC is located at VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS) main building, 2nd floor at 10 Casia Street, San Juan, PR 00921. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 517112 Wireless Telecommunications Carriers (except Satellite) and Product Service Code (PSC) DG11 IT and Telecom- Network Access Services Responses to this notice shall include company/individual name, size status for the above reference NAICS code, a service capability statement, SAM Entity Unique Identifier (EUI), DUNS Number, address, point of contact and examples of similar facilities to which similar services have been provided to. Contractors should provide information on whether they are certified SDVOSB, VOSB, Hub zone, 8(a), women-owned, a small or large business. If standard company brochures will be provided as a response to this Source Sought, ensure that additional information tailored to this notice is included. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the response to this announcement. Contractors must be registered in in System for Award Management (SAM), see internet site: https://www.sam.gov for information about registration. Specific areas to be addressed in capability packages submitted by respondents are as follows: 1. Descriptive literature supporting the business capability and availability to provide the services in the geographical area of Puerto Rico. 2. To extend possible provide details on the type of installations and service plans offered. 3. Identify any other companies owned (wholly or in-part) by the owners of this business who provide goods or services under the same or a related NAICS codes. 4. Identify any other companies owned (wholly or in-part) by the owners of this business who provide goods or services that are registered under the same or a related NAICS code with the Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE); Provide the certification type (SDVOSB/VOSB), Federal Identification Number, and state of incorporation for each. 5. Do you plan on responding to a solicitation for this requirement with a Joint Venture utilizing multiple owned companies as majority or non-majority owner? Yes ___No ___ If yes, please identify which companies are considering a Joint Venture and the ownership of each company. 6. If you are in GSA, please provide schedule and contract number. It is anticipated that any solicitation publicized for this Services will be for a standalone Firm Fixed Price contract with a base period and four option periods of twelve (12) months each. Responses to this notice must be submitted via email to Aurea.Gonzalez@va.gov no later than Wednesday July 5, 2023, at 10:00 AM AST. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
