Description

SUMMARY: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, Philadelphia, PA intends to award a sole source modification to an existing Firm Fixed Price�contract (No. W912BU19D0001) to Buchart Horn Inc., under authority 10 U.S.C. � 2304(c)(l) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 -- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 541330 Engineering Services, and the size standard is $16,500,000. The current IDIQ contract, W912BU19D0001, was awarded in the amount of $5M. This modification will increase the capacity by $700,000, which brings the total capacity of the contract to $5.7M. The period of performance for the IDIQ contract is through 05 Dec 2023. A period of performance extension is not included in this modification. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquires will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract modification based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract modification to continue Engineering Services at the Tobyhanna Army Depot . The Contracting Officer determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source is available. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, Philadelphia, PA intends to award a sole source contract modification to Buchart Horn Inc. CONTRACTING AGENCY: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Philadelphia District (NAP), Contracting (CT), 1650 Arch Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103-2004. AUTHORITY CITED: 10 U.S.C. � 2304(c)(l), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, as implemented by FAR 6.302-l(b)(1)(ii).
