- Sources Sought Synopsis Announcement Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Puget Sound is posting a sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest and recourse to support the requirement for 24-hour/7-day a week/365 days a year telephone switch and associated equipment maintenance services in Sasebo, Yokosuka, and Atsugi Japan. The vendor must have Nortel, Avaya, or GenBand OEM certified technicians. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 811210, Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, with a small business size standard of $34,000,000.00.� The results of the market research will contribute to future procurement process decisions. No feedback or evaluations will be provided regarding any submissions on this sources sought announcement. Description of Services: Provide 24 hour a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year (24x7x365) sustainment support for all Navy-owned Nortel\Avaya\GenBand Telephone Switching systems and their associated equipment. This sustainment support will also include routine and emergency technical assistance, as well as repair and return of unserviceable telephone switch and power supply components throughout the NAVCOMTELSTA FAR EAST Area of Responsibility (AOR). The technicians will be on site Monday through Friday between 0800 - 1645 Japan Standard Time and will receive day to day direction from the Site Lead or the Contracting Officer�s Representative at the respective location.� The contractor shall ensure that remote engineers are available to help diagnosis and solve any switch issues that the onsite tech requires assistance on.� The Technical Assistance Center is available 24 x 7 x 365.� This service is for all Nortel\Avaya\GenBand equipment and voicemail. Submission Instructions Interested parties who consider themselves qualified to perform these services are invited to submit a response or questions to this Sources Sought Synopsis Announcement no later than 1:00 PM Pacific 07 July 2023.
