NP TREMONT & ABRAMS WATER TANKS REPAIR ACTION: Pre-Solicitation Notice PRE-SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P5323R0053 CLASSIFICATION CODE: Z1NE � MAINTENANCE OF SEWAGE AND WASTE FACILITIES The NAICS Code for this requirement is 237110 � Water and Sewer Line Related Structures with a size standard of $39.5 million. POINT OF CONTACT: Geraldine Larsen, Contract Specialist, geralding_larsen@nps.gov PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Great Smoky Mountains National Park PLACE OF PERFORMANCE POSTAL CODE: 37882 PLACE OF PERFORMANCE STATE AND COUNTY: Townsend TN Blount County Title of Project: Water Tank Cleaning, Repair and Painting Project, Townsend, TN: Tremont Institute and Abrams Campground Area Description: The park has a requirement for repair, painting, and coating of the entire exterior and interior of Tremont Institute's 30,000-gallon welded steel potable water tank, and the Abrams Creek Campground 12,000-gallon welded steel potable water storage tank. The Park is seeking proposals from qualified firms with demonstrated expertise, and success in this area as identified in this Performance Work Statement. Services to be provided include furnishing all labor, supervision, transportation, tools, equipment, materials, and supplies necessary to successfully perform the required cleaning, repairs, surface preparation and painting of all interior and exterior surfaces of each tank in accordance with the specifications set forth. A visual and physical inspection of the Tremont and Abrams Creek Water Tanks was conducted on February 16, 2021. The inspection noted various deficiencies and maintenance needs for each tank. The objective of this project is to provide the services as noted above for the cleaning, repairs, surface preparation and painting of all interior and exterior surfaces of each potable water tank to eliminate the deficiencies noted in the inspection reports.
