Description
This is a market survey to locate sources of supply (manufacturer or distributors) with capability to supply NSN 5830-01-382-3218, Part Number A3205746 (Cage Code: 80063) Full Functioning Crew Station (FFCS) for Qty of 3161 and NSN 5895-01-382-3221, Part Number A3205747 (Cage Code: 80063) Master Control Station (MCS) for Qty of 953. �These items are the critical system components of the AN/VIC-3 intercommunication system. The AN/VIC-3 is a commonly used Vehicle Intercommunication System (VIS) that is deployed on vehicles from light armored HMMWV to up armored Abrams. The VIC-3 system consists of five boxes, the MCS, which operates as the central control hub for the vehicle; the FFCS, which operates as an intercom between each soldier in the vehicle; the MOS, which operates as a listen on alternative to the FFCS; the RIT, which is used to connect additional radios to the VIS system, and a loudspeaker for systems where applicable. First Article Test (FAT) will be required.� Technical Data Package (TDP) for manufacture and acceptance of this item is available from the Government.� The top-level drawings for these items can be released prior to the release of the solicitation upon request.� ��The TDP for this item is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). �This information shall not be provided to non-U.S. persons or transferred by any means to any location outside the United States Department of State.� Interested source wishing to request for the top-level drawings of this item must demonstrate that your company has an active status in the Defense Logistics Agency Joint Certification Program (JCP) when submitting request to the Government Point of Contract.�� Interested sources that can furnish these items must send a response outlining a viable approach and describing their ability of meeting the Government requirements.� Respondents to this notice must provide enough information to demonstrate their capabilities provide this item.� Responses shall be submitting in writing through email to U.S. ARMY CECOM, ATTN: FCDD-ISE-HDB, Nick Youn, nick.youn.civ@army.mil and to the Land and Maritime Competition Advocate, Mary Shearer, Mary.Shearer@dla.mil.� Responses to this notice should be submitted no later than close of business June 30, 2023. Responses shall apply to all the items.� Additionally, you may provide additional information to support your technical capabilities of manufacturing or supplying the components with similar complexity and functionality of the item specified above.� If you are interested in assisting us with market research information for this item, please answer the below market survey questionnaire.� We also appreciate any additional comments that will help us identifying potential manufactures or suppliers. INTERNATIONAL TRAFFIC IN ARMS REGULATIONS: The TDP for this acquisition is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All technical documents for this item include but is not limited to, test plans, test reports, drawings and specifications contains information that is subject to the controls defined in the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR). This information shall not be provided to non- U.S. persons or transferred by any means to any location outside the United States Department of State. A company wishing to receive the TDP must have an active status in the Defense Logistics Agency Joint Certification Program (JCP), and must complete the attached NDA. Please email our central inbox DLA_APG_SSA_Posting_Request@dla.mil with the Notice ID (DLA-Aberdeen-23-056) in the subject, the completed and signed NDA attached to the posting, and a copy of your company�s CAGE verification in SAM (System for Award Management). Once the Government has received your NDA, and your company CAGE has been verified to have active status in JCP, we will upload the TDP to DoD SAFE https://safe.apps.mil/. You will then receive an email from DoD SAFE site with a link to the package ID and a password. The TDP may contain drawings in a C4 format. Software to view C4 drawings is available for download through http://www.landandmartitime.dla.mil/Viewers.asp.
