- Description
- Eglin Air Force Base (AFB), FL has a requirement to provide all design and construction efforts required to Install New Taxiway Edge Lights TW-G.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors with a size standard of $19M.� Statement of Magnitude is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This requirement will be competed on the open market using Full and Open Competition in accordance with FAR 6.1. utilizing a best value source selection process and award will be made based upon the Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR Part 15.3. This project includes, but is not limited to, the following: route a install flush mounted blue taxiway (TWY) edge lights (45 watts) on pavement, elevated blue taxiway lights (45 watts) in the grass to define the lateral limits and direction of a taxiing route at TWY G hammerhead from TWY H to End of Runway (EOR) shack, one 45-watt isolation transformer for each edge light (both the primary and secondary amperage shall be 6.6 amps), and all wiring, conduit, and miscellaneous materials as required for a completely functional taxiway edge lighting system. The project will comply with applicable DoD, Air Force, and base design rules and standards with Unified Facility Criteria (UFC) 3-535-01 as the lead guidance document. The performance period is anticipated to be 210 days after the Notice to Proceed (NTP).� The above general description of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all labor, materials, and equipment in accordance with the specifications 15 June 2023 - Formal Release of Amendment 0001 The Purpose of Amendment 0001 is to: 1. Post RFI questions and answers 2. Post Sketches referenced in the SOW paragraph 1.1 3. Post UFC guidance for airfield Projects 4. Update documents to reflect correct Solicitation number FA282323R0014. (Any reference to R0006 Solicitation shall be disregarded) 5. No changes to the originally posted SOW and Wage Determination� 6. Incorporate FAR clause 52.204-27 Prohibition on a ByteDance Covered Application (Jun 2023) which is now required in all Solicitations and Contracts 7. All other provisions and clauses of the original posting remain the same The RFP due date will not be extended. Contractors shall propose by 26 June 2023 1:00 PM Central Time NOTICE TO ALL VENDORS: Due to an administrative error, this solicitation was posted on the wrong form. (1449 instead of 1442) The CON-IT system will not allow a change to the issued form type, therefore, we need to cancel this solicitation IN NUMBER ONLY and will be reissuing this requirement under FA282323R0016. Everything except the form number and solicitation number remains the same. We will reissue all attachemnts with the correct form and solicitation number. The due date remains the same, as the ONLY THING CHANGING IS THE SOLICITATION NUMBER and the Form Type will be a 1442.
