Description

INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Navajo Area Indian Health Services (NAIHS), Kayenta Health Center intends to negotiate a one-time, sole source, firm fixed priced contract with MCMANIS ASSOCIATES INC., 20400 Observation DR STE 204, Germantown, Maryland 20876-4087 to provide the following services: Annual Chargemaster Update/Maintenance and On-Going Chargemaster Support, E/M Documentation Guidelines Education, Semi-Annual Documentation, Coding and Billing Audits, �2022/2023 Comprehensive Fee Schedule Analysis Sole Source authority cited FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B); Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. �Due to the particular requirements of this solicitation, the proposed vendor meets the needs of the requestor which are most advantageous to the Government in terms of economy, efficiency, reliability of services.� Therefore, MCMANIS ASSOCIATES INC is the only vendor capable of fulfilling the requirements of Kayenta Health Center. The proposed contractor shall the specified services identified above to Kayenta Health Center in Kayenta, Arizona. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement to the attention of: Janice Martinez. Email: Janice.Martinez@ihs.gov. Only emailed responses will be considered. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence, that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. Last day to provide affirmative written response is June 26th, 2023, 10am MST. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement base upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
