This SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE is for market research purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Proposal or Quotation.� It is not considered to be a commitment by the Government to award a contract nor will the Government pay for any information provided; no basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result from a response to this Sources Sought Notice or Government use of any information provided. Pursuant to FAR Part 6 and FAR Part 19, competition and set-aside decisions may be based on the results of this market research. Requirement:� This notice is issued by the U.S. Coast Guard Yard, Surface Forces Logistics Center; Curtis Bay, MD to identify sources capable of providing necessary materials, equipment, and personnel to Develop a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) model of the NSC Reduction Gear Oil Sump system and perform CFD analyses under varying environmental and operational conditions to determine sources of oil aeration and the flow conditions at the oil pump�s suction and discharge into the sump at the U.S. Coast Guard Shipyard, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Curtis Bay, Maryland 21226.� This requirement is subject to change at the discretion of the Government.� PLEASE SEE STATEMENT OF WORK Anticipated Period of Performance:� The anticipated period of performance forty-six weeks to begin approximately September 11, 2023 (subject to change at the discretion of the Government). NAICS Code/Size Standard:� The applicable NAICS code is 541511, Software analysis and design services and the size standard is 1,250 employees. The Government anticipates making a single award for this effort.� This will be a Firm Fixed Price contract.� Concerns having the expertise and required capabilities are invited to submit complete and current information discussing their capabilities/past performance within 10 calendar days from the date this notice is posted.� This is not a Request for Proposals; therefore, no pricing information shall be submitted at this time. Information shall be submitted via e-mail to the Contract Specialist: Ms. Jacquelyn Warfield jacquelyn.l.warfield@uscg.mil and to Contracting Officer: Ms, Raina Haynes at raina.o.haynes@uscg.mil no later than 2:00 PM EST on June 30, 2023. The Government does not intend to pay for the information that is submitted.�� It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor this EPS system for future notices and changes.�� All responses will be considered by this agency. Submission of Information: Companies having capabilities necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements and are interested in submitting a proposal are invited to provide information to contribute to this sources sought notice including commercial market information and company information. A: Provide the following information/documentation: 1. Company Name, Address and UEI Number 2. Point of Contact and Phone Number 3. Business Size applicable to the NAICS Code:� 8(a) Small Business Concern, HubZone Small Business Concern, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Concern (SDVOSB), Women Owned Small Business, or a Small Business Concern.
